Bringing fans a colorful assortment of beat gems, complete with all the extra’s, 24OD stuns fans, and makes vocal performers mouth’s water with appetite. An assortment of 14, exceptional beats, 24OD, proves Lazarus Diving has some exceptional production talent.

The best beat on the album is “Interpretation of a River”, which is clam and melodic, appeasing fans with that all natural flavor. “Clam” follows the same path as “Interpretation of a River”, but with the all the extra bells and whistles. Although a large majority of the instrumentals bare similar sounds, they all have a special flavor that makes them unique. The tightest beat featured on this 14 track beat compilation is “The Walrus & The Carpenter” which is a befitting way to set things off, grabbing fans sole attention, with cuts, jabs, and lively change ups. 240D is creative aspiration at its rawest essentials.

Other highly notable beats include “No Chaos Dammit”, “A Long Stretch of Highway”, and “Progression” which features some dynamic vocals by Aaron. “Applause” also demands attention for its unique creative, whimsically cinematic flow. Keynote point, all of the beats blessing this incredible album, serve up pure entertainment.

“Can’t Keep Runnin” is something many fans have heard before in another classic hip hop tune; however, no fan has quite heard this brilliant rendition that crowns its predecessor. One of few interludes on the album, and definitely done right. The other Interlude, “Age 5” serves up no real musical value, and is more inspirational / artistic expression than anything. Because most fans won’t share the same artistic value in the interlude, it does take away from the album. Followed by Snail, a sharp, jazzy tune, blasting ears into submission, fans are quickly sling shot back into the mix.

Overall, the jewels on this album should be revealed by fans, and artists looking to shop beats. Some treasures are definitely best left for others to find, and this is a gleaming case. 240D is worth every ounce of immediate attention, and listing enjoyment. A great album, well put together, featuring exceptional production, and creative, highly vibed music.
