Originality, strong lyricism, excellent word play, unique style, intensity, and some of the hottest beats known to grace the realm of hip hop bring this group a level beyond their competition.

This album starts off with an introduction entitled “Squads Intro” that lets listeners know they are in store for some excellent hip hop music. A banging beat carries the message well. What’s the message? “This group is here to make noise, going as far as they can go, settling for no less then the top”.

The most notable track on this album is entitled “Dat Azz”. This blazing hot track is backed with powerful lyricism, profound wordplay, ever flow lyrics, live style, and an amazingly hot, banging beat that certainly gets any club junkie high off vibes. It’s easy for a artist to create a tight track that’s not saying anything, but its hard for a artist to create a tight track that’s evidently saying something, and Desert Squad hits the target with this track, definitely saying something. The deliverance of the concept within the lyrics behind this track is achieved, and extremely well done. Put this track in heavy rotation and play it til you burn a hole through the CD.

The 3rd most promising track featured on this album is entitled “Off Da Hook”, and it certainly represents its title well. This track has a banging beat that compliments its hot lyrical content to a exceptionally high degree. No disappointments whatsoever with the display of talent in this track.
