Songs such as “Chasin Dreamz”, “Am I Bound for Death?”, and “Thank U Mama” appeal to fans on a deeper level with serious subject matter & rhyme content. Fans love conceptual rhymes that are meaningful in the words expressed. Juice does a fantastic job at delivering this content, capturing the true spirit of his topic through his rhymes. It’s one thing for an artist to have enough talent to release a tight track, but its something else when an artist can take a topic, and express it perfectly to fans via his words & delivery. Juice is a multi-talented artist – no question. His strongest points are his rhyme writing ability, his delivery, and his intensity & ability to express feelings through his art.
The beats on the album are magnificent. It’s rare that an album is blessed with so many powerful beats. The beats hit fans hard, get the crowd moving, & snap necks back with head nodding rhythms. The beats are intense, and inspiring.
The album artwork is well put together. Evilwayz Graphics did an outstanding job with the creation of the artwork. The artwork & design burned onto the CD’s surface is very visually appealing, and definitely adds an extra element to the design. Hot eye candy Visuals always adds another element of professional to any album.
Critics will critique the fact that “Sexy Mamcita” is essentially featured four different times on this album. Hands down, there is no argument that this track is not one of the best songs fans will hear in their lifetime; however, there is a point to overkill. In all fairness, the occurrences of “Sexy Mamacita” are different versions of the song. The benefit of having an acapella, and an instrumental version is that DJ’s can create their own mixes with the song, and fans, if inspired can rap to the instrumental. Critics will claim that an instrumental & acapella is the wrong way to end a CD release, and, or it’s a reserved song format for vinyl; has no place on a CD version of a product. Fans don’t want to listen to acapella’s on CD releases; however, an instrumental is bearable, but ultimately, just as unappreciated. If the occurrences of “Sexy Mamacita” were kept down to the original & remix versions then critics wouldn’t have anything to critique. The good thing is that if this is your only critique on an album, then it’s no worries, because this can be corrected, and it’s really not that big of an issue. There are still fourteen amazing tracks on the album, each one worth your hard earned dollars, and you can always consider the acapella & instrumental as bonus material. In fact, maybe you’re inspired to write & practice your own rhymes over the instrumental or play the part of a DJ making mixes yourself.
