“MG the Visionary is an incredible emcee, and he proves his natural abilities on his “Transparemcee” album. Featuring incredibly well written, and preformed rhymes from MG, and guest appearance from the super-talented Pigeon John, and other such as Smoke, Pauly Paul, and Page One, this album appeases fans deepest hip hop cravings with a variety of non-step, ever steady, great hip hop music.”
MG the Visionary not only delivers great rhymes, but his vocalization, and style truly mind-spell fans. MG has the ability to draw listeners into his music, making them feel exactly what he is unleashing. Tracks that easily prove this point are “U-Trip”, “Seeds”, and “Scared As…” which are all among the albums top highlight cuts, the most notable of which is “U-Trip”. “U-Trip” impresses fans with MG’s outstanding verbal dynamics. In rhyme, vocalization, style, and passion MG rips into fans until they gasp in astonishment, pulsating purely satisfied.
Other notable tracks worth mentioning are “Otherside”, “Rukus Bringa”, and “To the Light”; however, do not mistake, no song on this album is a disappointment. The beats featured on this album compliment the rhymes in their creativity, and intensity fans will feel.
Strong points surrounding this album are the great assortment of gems, exceptional rhymes, and beats, the albums creativity, refreshing style, and so forth. MG’s ability to present his rhymes with passion, drawing fans in to vibe the feelings impacted in his enjoyable rhymes is the albums strongest positive attribute. BEC Records, and MG did an outstanding job putting this album together. This album is full length, 16 tracks, 70 minutes, and 29 seconds of music fans will enjoy. Its always refreshing to see artists & labels giving fans exactly what they want, more good music for their hard earned value.
Ailments plaguing this album are rare, but still apparent. Some fans will unquestionably frown on some of the creativity that the majority of fans enjoy, and other fans will critique the albums intro, and interlude which are very short, and not full length tracks. Some fans will also complain about the track listing on the back of the cover being hard to read ( the number of the songs ), but the label more than made up for that with the 12 page, front cover booklet fans can enjoy. The album title is also hidden, and very hard to read, leaving fans almost to believe this is a self titled album release – until they squint, holding the album in the light.
Overall, MG! The Visionary is a very talented artist, and a noted rising star. Fans can expect much more from this artist in the future, and definitely appreciate the assortment of gems he delivered on this, 2000 release, Transparemcee album.
