“With their debut release, “Impotent Mind Fuck“, Mind Mechanics deliver fans into the heart of rawly intense hip hop music featuring a sharp penetrating edge. The dynamic duo of Hypoetical, and Memphis Reigns mesh together in harmony to create the perfect, captivating flow that will appease even the most resistant fan. Mind Mechanics has a lot of talent; however, their music is of a darker nature; therefore, they don’t pack “bling-bling” or “bounce-bounce” in their music.”

The look, feel, and sound of the album parallels a well put together “underground demo” project. The cover art is very suggestive, and well associated with the title, and the writing on the cover definitely has a hip hop appeal. The sound quality featured on the album is well achieved.

This album starts off with the highly explosive track entitled “Japanese Nipple Execution”. Despite the odd lapse where it sounds like the track was “glued together”, the beat is explosive, the progressively intense lyrical performance of the group is overly satisfying, and the cuts featured on this track are outstandingly impacting. The beat backing the lyrics has a “Japanese” type soothing vibe, and the lyrics come at the listener with the “we’re the best” type tone. “Japanese Nipple Execution” is one of the albums best, if not the best featured track.

Other notable tracks include “Bladder Calisthenics”, “Footprints”, “Born And Deranged”, and “Mind Mechanics”; however, all of the tracks are well put together, and enjoyable to listen. All feature well put together beats, and intense, well written lyrics. The second best track featured on this album is “Born And Deranged”. Not your typical “I’m Crazy” track, the song is well pieced together, and very creative. Fans will highly enjoy.

The least appreciate track featured on this album is “Welcome to My World”. This track fails to hold the listeners attention as much as the other tracks. The lyrical, and beat content of this track also trails the rest of the fine songs featured.

Strong points of this album include its musical assortment, sound quality, lyrical talent, and content, and its underground appeal. The strongest point of this album is it’s intensity forged in pure passion for the art. The smooth microphone dynamics of this well meshed duo captivate fans easily. This album has listen-ability, and replay-ability.

There are few contributions that hold this album down; however, some of the tracks featured on this album feature lessor production, and sometimes the emcee’s will drift off the flow for a second or two. These downfalls are few, and far in between. The album is 41 minutes, and 31 seconds; therefore, fans are left craving more.

Overall, “Impotent Mind Fuck” features talented emcee’s, and some great hip hop music they created, that truly has a underground feel fans will enjoy. Mind Mechanics is on the rise, and the industry best recognize.
