“Brought to you by the production team of Nas and Ill Will, QBF is an archive of damn hot joints, bringing you lyrical skills from damn big names such as the Bravehearts, Millenium Thus, C’N’N and Nas himself.” In all the hip hop albums I’ve heard, I’ve never heard an opening song like ‘Da Bridge 2001′ featuring nine emcees – Nas, Capone, Mobb Deep, Tragedy, Nature, MC Shan, Marley Marl, Cormega and Millenium Thug all dropping a verse making this a bangin’ tune! Damn!
Queensbridge Finest – there’s a lot in a name, and these guys live up to it.
Every song on this album is worthy of a say, but there are a couple I have to particularly mention. ‘Oochie Wally’ by The Bravehearts is hot, with a catchy hook and graphics lyrics always gets a play on my wheels of steel. ‘Money’, featuring Mr Challish brings a more laid back feel but still brings the ill lyrics. ‘Power Rap’ is a freestyle droppped by Prodigy of Mobb Deep (need I say more?). The last track, ‘Teenage Thug’, by Nas and Millenium Thug just brings a briliant end to a blazin album. With so many big names on the album, there was no doubt it would be a tight album.
Big names such as Mobb Deep, Nature and Cormega pop up now and then to drop a verse and keeps the album flowing. Most poeple would think as Nas as an emcee, but y’all know he’s not all that bad at the production game. He can rock the mic and put beats for everyone else to. Nice emcee, nice producer, nice album. One. 2000 – Queensbridge Finest bring a tight album to the table. Nas can produce.
