Soul Plasma rips the microphone with intensity and passion that is not easily paralleled. Simply Soul is a magnificent album that features some of the best music that some fans have not heard. Thirteen smoking joints blaze up the release perfectly, as the album never dip’s, supplying fans with an endless assortment of monolithic music. All of the songs featured on Simply Soul are sure to be fan favorites. The album starts with high intensity and momentum and never dips. The “Intro” track, twenty one seconds long, sets off the album with creativity. The first full length track, “Maneuver”, is exceptional, the beat thanks to Deepsix is amazing, and compliments Soul Plasma’s lyrics well. Both the vocal and non vocal elements of the song are in perfect harmony from start to finish. Other notable tracks include “The Format”, “The Selection”, “Full Moon”, and “Simply Soul”; however, each and every song on the album is exceptional, and easily appreciated. The flow of the album is perfect, each song flows into the next well making this an easily “loop worthy” release, one fans can spin in heavy rotation without pause.

Fans can most appreciate the content of Soul Plasma’s rhymes as they are always positive, of real subject matter fans can relate with easily. Simply Soul isn’t another iced out album where it’s all about the bling bling, and a fin on a ho. Simply Soul has one of the best, most informative album jackets which gives you a real insight into Soul Plasma, and his music. Soul Plasma is a level headed, modest, positive person who is someone that everyone can relate with, and respect. The cover artwork is well put together, excellent presentation, and package. The production is top quality, the beats are all amazing, and the vocals are magnificent. The production team includes Deepsix, Ohmega Watts, Nickels, MG The Visionary, Kiv, and DJ Evil One, all of which contributed positively to the album. The cuts from DJ Arkitek, Nickels & DJ Because, and Muneshine are excellent additions. Guest appearances include MG The Visionary, L Pro, and Braille, all of which contribute positively to the album.

Some critics will critique the album for not being longer as its thirteen tracks deep with some room for more; however, it’s about quality and not quantity. Thirteen tracks is a good album length, and when you have thirteen solid tracks, one after another, it makes for a great album deserving of hard earned dollars.

Simply Soul is a colorful album that provides fans with a lot of positives. Its evident Soul Plasma put a lot of himself into the music, and any time an artist does that the music is sure to be real hot. Simply Soul is full of soul and highly entertaining at the least of times. Fans need to listen to the album, and loop it in heavy rotation.
