Street Musik Volume 1 is an incredible album that fans need to cop immediately. The album is a compilation featuring fifteen of the best tracks you’ve never heard. Great Music non stop makes this album one of the most replay able, loop worthy, flawless flowing albums on set. The beats are hot, the music is universal, the lyricists are entertaining, and the production is dynamite. Not copping this array of jewels is a crime punishable under the offence of hip hop narcolepsy.
The compilation sets off with a nice introduction track, to the point, short & sweet. Normally intros are frowned upon, but in this case, it’s a short, nice mellow intro which is acceptable. The first full length track is entitled “Poppin 9’s”. “Poppin 9’s” is an exceptionally tight joint that is sure to get fans high with bounce. The lyrics are breath taking, well delivered, and real. The beat is full of sensational sounds that will rattle the soul out of your body until your limbs exhibit movement at its highest level. No joke! The next song “Get Blowed” is one of the albums best. “Get Blowed” is intense, funky, and entertaining. It’s a song that will dazzle the audience, and get the whole place moving. The lyrics are extremely powerful, and the beat is high octane. The compilation continues with a plethora of bright jewels that are extremely deserving of complete listening attention. Each song flows perfectly into the next, making the listening journey & experience as pleasurable as a three some with three sets of porn star twins.
The compilations most notable tracks include “Get Blowed”, “How We Roll”, “My Lady”, “Man Up”, “Don’t Want U”, and “Lets Do It”. Each of these songs is absolutely smoldering hot. The least appreciated track on the album is “Break Bread” as it’s a skit, and doesn’t contribute anything extra to the album. Sometimes artists add skits for creativity, but skits seldom, if ever do anything but break up the flow of the music. The first time you listen to the album, you may think the skit is cool, but after listening to the CD a few times you get pissed from hitting skip to skip over the skits. Fans want the music, and that’s where it’s at. To this compilations credit, there is only one (1) skit on the album.
