xv - the answerThe Answer” is very clear, concise, and direct, XV possesses a very wide range of skills, and an effortless talent to create incredible music that a very diverse audience of global fans can appreciate, and relate to easily. Groovy, fresh, original sounds bless “The Answer” equally alongside the powerful, intense lyrics, and the wonderfully delightful beats, and production. Fans are stunned, pleased, and completely satisfied. The 17 tacks, 77 minutes, and 34 seconds of scorching hot music give fans a well deserved buffet of some of the best music ever heard.

XV’s intensity is not easily matched as he vents his energy though his music, and this second LP, which he claims to be his best sounding album packed with hot joints back to back, which is an understatement. The music flows perfectly, from song to song, in perfect harmony, even on the hardest critic’s ears. All of the songs are equally strong, and because of this consistency in music the album is masterfully well balanced. There are absolutely no dips, or breaks in the quality of music.

The Answer begins with an introduction track which is a positive first impression, but it’s with the first full length musical track that fans really go ballistic in a groovy kind of fashion. “Welcome 2 Tha City” is a hard hitting; mentally captivating song that easily appeases fans. A definite high note, and a single to pump in heavy rotation. XV’s creative, intense, and strong verbal contribution compliments the strong groovy, fun, live, energetic beat. The album continues with amazing track, after amazing track; however, some of the other notable tracks on the album include “Mi Amor”, “Can’t Let U Go”, “On Tha Block”, “The King”, “The Answer” (title track), “City Of Angelz”, and “Till The Day”.

“The Answer” has many strong points which include, but are not limited to exceptional lyrics, beats, and production, unique, fresh music, a very diverse array of style, and sounds, and 17 hot songs, all of which are very high quality. Ebonee featured in “Mi Amor”, and “Till The Day”, and “Nisha” featured in “Can’t Let U Go” and “Backseat” contribute very strongly to the tracks in which they are featured, as well as the albums overall quality. The album is very well packed, and the jacket is very informative giving fans that extra information they enjoy about the artist, and their music. The sound quality, and recording is well done. Royalty Recordz has done a fantastic job in making “The Answer” an album worth attention. The production recognition goes to Future, Styalz, Seven, Nothin, Soleternity, and XV himself. These artists combine on the album to put forth the production work behind the tracks.

Critics will have a hard time critiquing “The Answer” as its downfalls are near invisible. If fans could take one album away with them to a desert island in the middle of nowhere this would be that album. “The Answer” should be treated as mandatory listening for fans world wide. A refreshing album that is different than the commonplace hip hop buffet of stagnant and meaningless music.

Overall “The Answer” is an incredible album, and XV is an incredibly talented artist. Worth every ounce of attention, XV’s music satisfies all cravings fans have for solid, intense, energetic music.
